Disclaimer and Explanation

ErgoCleanse
in no way claims that the irrigation of the colon through enemas, colemas, or colonics is a stand-alone panacea for improved health and well-being. The inventor of the ErgoCleanse, having conducted a healing retreat for many years, rather advocates a balanced lifestyle that incorporates many forms of self-care and health-maintenance practices in addition to colon cleansing, such as: fasting, healthy eating, exercise, stress management, and spiritual growth.

The ErgoCleanse is considered in the same device class as an enema board, and cannot legally be called a colonic. While such words as enema, colema, colenema, and colonic have always been used interchangeably by both the cleansing industry and the un-initiate, the governmental ruling agency does make a distinction between the meaning of, and the level of classification of enemas and colonics. Therefore, to comply to the restrictions of the class in which the ErgoCleanse falls, but also to be clear as to what the ErgoCleanse offers for the un-initiate health-seeker, we refer to the ErgoCleanse only as a system for colon cleansing or colon irrigation.

There are many web sites that make grand claims for the benefits of colon cleansing through irrigation. While we have experienced all of those benefits and have witnessed those benefits in others, ErgoCleanse cannot make those claims about its product. All views as to the transforming benefits expressed on this web site are within testimonials or comments as to the value of the device as an investment, including those expressed by the inventor as personal views and experiences. Our approach is: "For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible." (St.Clair Thomas)

If you are reading this web site, you may believe in the value of colon cleansing more than the average person, and would perhaps like to be further convinced. We regret that we cannot provide more compelling information as it is not in line with government regulations to do so.

We must instead assert:

The ErgoCleanse is intended to instill water or other fluids into the colon through a nozzle inserted into the rectum to promote evacuation of the contents of the lower colon.

We make no claim for cure or relief of any symptom or medical condition when using our product.

Do not use this product if you are experiencing or have recently experienced abdominal pain or discomfort; have been diagnosed with diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, or any ulceration or weakened condition of the colon wall; or have any serious medical condition. In such case consult with your physician before using this product.
